Karen R Mendonca: Hello & welcome to my world of Cooking & Baking.I'm Karen & having recently discovered my new found passion for Cooking & Cake decoration I've decided to create this Blog so that I can share some of my treats with you all. As a spinster I cooked occasionally & helped mom prepare all the goodies during X’mas.I gave up my career in Finance after marriage & moved to US on a spouse visa which gave me lots of spare time during which I tried out different recipes & managed to please my hubby with my experimental cooking.I guess I owe all of it to my mom & Grandmom from whom I've inherited the art of cooking. I always baked cakes but never decorated them .Recently I took up Cake Decoration classes at Wilton’s & since then I've discovered my passion for cake decor. A special thankU to my Hubby & my Parents who encouraged & supported me thru this journey.I've been making cakes just for friends & family not on a commercial basis.
